Today, Andrew Wilkinson, candidate for leadership of the BC Liberal Party, proudly accepted the endorsement of Linda Reimer, former MLA for Port Moody – Coquitlam.
“Andrew is, without a doubt, the best and brightest choice to lead the BC Liberal Party,” said Reimer. “British Columbia deserves someone who understands the challenges that we face from each corner of the province and everywhere in between, Andrew Wilkinson is that person and I am proud to endorse him to lead the BC Liberal Party and stand up to John Horgan on day one. Andrew has that experience and that ability.”
A former colleague of Linda’s in the legislature, and on the Cabinet Committee for Secure Tomorrow, Andrew has been touring the province to hear directly from BC Liberals and non-party members. In addition to listening, Andrew has been acting by launching a petition to oppose the NDPs cynical drive to change our electoral system. You can sign the petition here.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank Linda for her generous endorsement,” remarked Wilkinson. “Linda has delivered for her community, time and time again – I look forward to working with Linda to stick up for the people in the Tri-Cities, that’s my commitment.”
On Saturday, November 18th, Andrew will be continuing his tour with a visit to the Tri-Cities. All members of the public are welcome to attend his community meeting.
